JESSICA-WILLIAMS.COM PAINTINGS CV PRESS CONTACT		STATEMENT Painting articulates itself in the space between intimacy and monumentality, slowing down the rush of sensation inherent in lived experience and holding a mirror to its realities, material and immaterial. It exists in a state of becoming, a wild eyed and open-ended place where momentary impressions suggestive of landscapes or objects cross over and double back with unhinged frenzy into the personal and collective worlds of memory, history, identity, and 20th century art.  - 2.3.12 BIOGRAPHY Jessica studied painting at Columbia University (MFA, 2008) and RISD (BFA, 2005) and is represented by Young Art, Los Angeles. She has shown her work in solo and group exhibitions across the United States. She is the founder of the clothing brand XO | Los Angeles and teaches art at the Heschel School in Northridge, CA.
