In my work I am pressing against the limits of the representable world. I am interested in ideas of transformation,
identification, idealization, and the worlds we create through images to mythologize experience. I use memory as a space to
question and open up, and collect source material from google searches relating to my Jewish ancestry in Eastern Europe, fictive
cinematic spaces that I have assumed as my own from endlessly re-watched movies, the San Fernando Valley where I spent my
childhood and coming of age years, and personal photos from lived experience. I am interested in the impossibility of representation,
its damaged visions and half remembered truths, and the immense personal freedom that exists within this space.
